Lloyd Brunn, the inventor of Park Your Pool™ spent a career as a carpenter of fine cabinetry. One day he found himself faced with the decision to either resurface his swimming pool or fill it with dirt! He wished for an alternative. He didn't like the continuous maintenance of his pool, especially since neither he nor his wife ever used it! But the challenge of getting so much dirt to his backyard did not appeal to him either. A beautiful wood deck came to mind! It would dress up his yard and leave his pool below intact. What a great idea! In his effort to reduce cost and still meet structural requirements, he did much research. He investigated a variety of different woods and metals, as well as vendors who carried the dimensions his pool deck required.
